ENGLAND ATHLETICS CLUB AFFILIATION
Walney Wind Cheetahs is proud to be an affiliated club and fully compliant with all England Athletics Club standards.
Affiliation gives Walney Wind Cheetahs access to a range of benefits and services to help manage and develop our club. Through affiliation, the club has public liability insurance, access to support services, competition licensing, resources and guidance.
All our coaches and run leaders are qualified and registered with England Athletics and follow the requirements to maintain their registration, e.g. safeguarding training and DBS vetting.
ATHLETE AFFILIATION
To be a Walney Wind Cheetah affiliated athlete you must have completed our club registration on SPOND.
As an England Athletics affiliated athlete you have access to numerous benefits including:
Discount on UK Licensed road races
· Eligibility to participate in Mid Lancs Cross country events representing Walney Wind Cheetahs

Please note
Affiliation with England Athletics is not a requirement, many club members choose to be a non- affiliated member [no fee]. As a non-affiliated member you can still attend all club running sessions and benefit from training with qualified coaches and run leaders.
